i-Trek (I Turn Research into Empowerment and Knowledge) is a Massachusetts based non-profit with a mission to aid underrepresented students from across the nation in the successful pursuit and completion of undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in STEM fields through the execution of self-defined, community-based research projects.

The organization's flagship initiative sends interdisciplinary groups of undergraduates to exotic locations to conduct research. In the past, this has included coral reef research in Key Largo, Florida, where the students scuba dove to uncover water samples for later testing.
